PINEVILLE LOUISIANA once again has received the Cleanest City Award!!
I am so proud of my city..Pineville, Louisiana!




It is so much more than just a plaque! It is the pride of the residents and the passion of the city employees!
For the 5th year we have Won the States Cleanest City Award. We were competing with other cities in the State with a population between 9500 - 14,999 which is classified as District 'G'.
The contest is held by the Louisiana Garden Club Federation. We were competing with the Cities of Morgan City, Eunice, Denham Springs and Bastrop.
Our Mayor Clarence Fields said that the victory is a team effort. "This award is a victory for all city employees and our citizens. I really want to commend our Public Works Department, the Pineville Beautification Committee and the Alexandria Garden Club.  It is obvious that our citizens and employees share the same sense of passion and pride in our community and about litter abatement, and what we can accomplish when we work together."
Just one more reason why Pineville Louisiana is a GREAT PLACE TO CALL HOME!!
