Longboat Key Condos for Sale with Views of the Gulf of Mexico

In January 2008, when we wrote a similar blog post, there were over 100 condos for sale on Longboat Key with direct Gulf of Mexico views and in February of that year the figure dropped to 86 condos offering a minimum of two bedrooms and also providing full or direct views of the Gulf.
Today the Sarasota MLS reports 139 condos for sale on Longboat Key with full or direct Gulf of Mexico views.  List prices for a minimum of two bedrooms and two baths now range from $325,000 for a 975 sq.ft. short sale to $3,950,000 for a luxury condominium at Positano on Longboat Key.  The residence also has a two car garage.  Positano is behind a guarded gate at the northern end of Longboat Key.  The grounds are comprised of 10 acres of shoreline property.  Positano is the ultimate in beachfront condo living providing its residents an array of excellent amenities.
