Horse Property and Ranch Living in the Antelope Valley
 
 
In the Antelope Valley, one hour north of Los Angeles, we equestrian fans are lucky to have 1-3 acre ranches still available in the middle of town.  I live on a 2+ acre ranch two blocks up from the mall, restaurants, and movie theatres.  Most people don't even know we are here because construction is being completed a (shopping strip malls and fast food joints) all around us.  But here nestled in between city life we have our piece of heaven.  People are always shocked when they come to my house.  They drive up from the mall on paved roads and pull up to see my five horses.  They can't believe that we are zoned for horses so close to the mall. 
 
I realize that we are very lucky to have our ranch and city life too.  The AV has grown so much over the past 15 years.  When I first moved here there was not even a decent video place in town.  K-Mart was the shopping place there was no mall.  Since I have seen our community flourish with families and business.  We are a hidden treasure offering affordable housing, outdoor activities for the family, and the beauty of the ... more
