REDWOOD CITY Hazardous Waste Drop Off
According to Malcolm Smith, Public Communications Manager for Redwood City,
San Mateo County's Environmental Health Division is holding a household hazardous waste collection event in Redwood City this Saturdary, October 9th, from 8:30 to 12 noon at 1400 Broadway (Public Works Services parking lot) in Redwood City.  You can drop off a variety of household hazardous materials at no charge, and you must make an appointment by going online  at www.smhealth.org/hhw or calling  650-363-4718 (choose option 3). 
Redwood City and all San Mateo County Residents may drop off a full range of household hazardous waste at this collection event, including:
•           Oil-based paints, varnishes and stains
•           Paint thinner
•           Household cleaners
•           Aerosol spray cans
•           Furniture and metal polishes
•           Pesticides and garden chemicals
•           Pool chemicals
•           Photographic chemicals
•           Art and hobby supplies
