What are your intentions? Do they change as things become more and more desperate?
Real estate sales is a vocation that at times can be either very fulfilling or extremely frustrating. And during this historic market correction, it is much more often the latter rather than the former.
And while we may have the purest of intentions when it comes to serving our clients, very often desperate times may call for desperate measures. We are forced to expand our “comfort zone” on an almost daily basis.
But it’s not just about pushing the envelope in order to collect a commission. As it becomes harder and harder for purchasers to complete a transaction, it is often necessary to be flexible when it comes to protecting their interest.
I’m not talking about breaking the law or violating the code of ethics. But I am speaking of doing whatever is necessary to get the job done.
These days that might meaning breaking done some old barriers and treading on new ground.
And always maintaining good intentions!
