Have you turned on the heat yet?
Seems like just the other day that I was groaning about the heat and humidity.  In reality it was only two or three weeks ago.
Now we've segued right into geez-I-wish-I-could-turn-on-the-heat-temperatures.  You gotta love New England weather.
Every year I try to hold off until November 1st before turning on the heat. I have to say that makes for some chilly days and nights in October.
I just checked and it's 56 degrees in my kitchen right now. I imagine it will be even chillier by morning. 
Getting out of bed is not so easy on these nippy mornings.  And truth be told it's a bit of a downer to come home to a cold house.
But squeeking out one more cheap gas bill is worth it.  And a nifty bonus is having Champ snuggling in my lap or next to me at night. When the heat comes on I lose him to the radiator.
Three more weeks to go.  Time to dig out another sweater.
