Sunday Afternoon on the Pedernales River - Spicewood Austin TX
Summer is basically over, but I have not been on the boat for several months... it was time to winterize it, which meant Mike needed to take the boat out and do whatever you do to winterize it.  He suggested a ride since my mom was in town.  What a great idea! Alyssa loves being on the boat, and it had been a year since she had been on.

We didn't completely think about the logistics of getting the boat in and out of the water since I'm the one who usually backs the trailer down... there was no boat dock. There was no place to get into or out of the boat, except at the bottom of the ramp. 
But then, with my 34 week pregnant belly, how the heck was I supposed to jump on board? I certainly couldn't jump and go head first!
Mike pulled up as close as he could, and I managed to somehow pull myself up.  That, and then getting back out to retrieve the trailer were the biggest obstacles of the day.
