Day 24, 365 Things to Do in Williamson County TN: Yeoman's in the Fork Rare Books
Yeoman's in the Fork is a place for history. It is a step back in time through the pages of rare old books. Yeoman's specializes in books important to US history, such as the Declaration of Independence, early presidents, and documents that give insight as to the early beginnings of the USA. That's not all, though. You will find many old rare books, including sections for children's books, military, local interest, science and medicine and much more.
Yeoman's also hosts fun events, such as the Ghost Stories evening by the campfire, which will be held this year on October 16.
Founded by Mike Cotter and Keith Wallace through their passion for history and rare books, Yeoman's should be on your list of places to visit at least once, if not regularly.
Yeoman's in the fork is located at 4216 Old Hillsboro Road in Leipers Fork. Their hours are Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm; Sunday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm They are closed on Monday and Tuesday.
