POOCH PARK IN THE PINES
Pooch Park in the Pines is a 3 1/2 acre fenced park, located in Whispering Pines which is only 5 minutes from Pinehurst.  The Pooch Park is a joint project between the Moore County Humane Society and a group of volunteers called "Pooch Park Partners in the Pines".This dog park offers small dog owners like myself an added piece of mind.  I truly believe that dogs should be socialized as often as possible.  But, I admit I often have a fear of socializing my two small poodles with larger breeds. 
Pooch Park in the Pines has two seperate fenced areas.  One for smaller breeds, like my two fur-babies, and one area for the larger breeds.  The fenced areas are gated with a key-entry system (Members Only).  I LOVE it and I haven't had any complaints from my two pups (Basil & Bree) either!  As a matter of fact, tomorrow's weather report looks perfect for a trip to the dog park.  And remember, travel safely in the car with your dogs....see my previous blog about doggie car seats and buckling up!
