Instead of one large coffee table, try putting 4 small ones together to form a large cube if the room's floorplan allows for it.  It makes for an interesting "table" and it's easier for home staging purposes than transporting and storing one large table.

When designing your home gym, make sure it's well lit and comfy.  Be sure to add a flat screen TV as well.  Hey, every incentive to workout helps!

Boxwood makes a great container plant.  Place it in the centre of a large container and surround it with flowers.  For the winter, you can store the planted boxwood in your shed.  Most likely it will go dormant and green up again in the spring when you bring it back outside.  Then build your arrangement again.

Planting bulbs?  Put in 100 or so of the same colour for drama.  If you want an informal look, scatter the bulbs.  For a formal look, plant the bulbs in rows.
