THANKSGIVING? IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS? SERIOUSLY?
Is it even possible that Thanksgiving is less than two weeks from today? Good grief! It really is true what they say about time seeming to slip away more quickly the older you get, isn’t it? Wow. It started when I was twenty eight, but since I turned twenty nine, man…zoom, zoom! 
So, I guess it’s time to start building a menu, and buying stuff to put together for our annual family celebration. I will have to get on that very soon, for sure. And by “I,” I mean my husband. HaHa! Oh…you thought I cooked? BAAHAHAHAA!!!  (Sorry, that always makes me laugh) No, I don’t cook…Charlie is the cook, and a fine cook he is. In my own defense though, I will say that I CAN cook…well, sort of. Okay, I can’t, but whatever. Bygones.

Anyhoo, I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving is upon us. This means that Christmas is six weeks from today (Eve). That actually sounds more reasonable than, “Thanksgiving is less than two weeks from today.”
Oh well…both are equally true. And I am equally ill prepared for each.
But I will embrace both with open arms before November 25; I always do!
