A checklist of things a Seller can do before the home inspector arrives
 
This is an extensive list from Russell Ray on things to do before the home inspector arrives.  If a seller has a pre-listing inspection then they don't have to worry themselves with what may come up on an inspection when a buyer has presented an offer.Before I list a home I ask the owners to at minium take care of the "honey do" list that has been sitting on the fridge for the last year.  Things we overlook because we've gotten used to the quirks will make a buyer devalue a home far beyond the cost of the actual repair.

Doing as much as possible before the Buyer's property inspection helps ensure that escrow goes more smoothly. Following is my "checklist" of items often found during the course of a property inspection that a Seller could do or could easily hire a general handyperson to do.
OUTSIDE
