Prayer To The Real Estate Gods
Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep
I pray the Real Estate Gods don't let me get in too deep
If a listing sells before I wake
I hope it's mine 'cause of the commission I'll make...
 
Grant me patience with bankers who think buyers don't qualify,
with buyers who think properties are overpriced,
with sellers who think properties are under-priced,
and inspectors who seem to want to ruin every sale I make...
 
Grant me understanding of the reason why buyers want me to cut my commission
and be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week...
 
Grant me the ability to convince Revenue Canada that I am not their only income source.
 
The wisdom to choose which ride is good enough for my clients,
but not so good that they will think I earn too much money...
 
Oh Real Estate Gods, if I ever hit a million dollars in sales
make my clients understand that I don't have the million my pocket
And Real Estate Gods...Grant me just one more boom, and I promise not to spend it all at once
