About Bumblebees and Sacramento Short Sale Agents
Nobody ever believes me when I say I don't like to work too hard. I think that's because they look at what I accomplish and naturally assume that I work very hard to get there. But the truth is I am always looking for ways to work less hard and get more done. I'm lazy that way. I'll take the path of least resistance if it gets me to the same destination.
As real estate agents, we can't be bumblebees all the time, zipping from one flower to the next, one short sale listing to the next. Sometimes, we need to kick back and take in a little sun. Relax a little. You might not know this, but bumblebees rarely make it through a winter. Like some spiders, as soon as the males mate, they bite the dust. An average worker bumblebee's life span is about four weeks.
I think about this when I attend my closings. I went to 2 short sale closings yesterday and I have another today. It's the last time I will see some of my sellers because maybe they live out of the area or are moving away. The closings are bittersweet. On the one hand, ... more
