Settling into change
Last Thursday my company announced that it had merged with ERA Herman Group Real Estate in Denver. A small but mighty company we were at Infinity Group Realty. The announcement came as a complete shock as my brokers sat me down the morning before to give me a "Heads Up" about the Big Meeting ahead.
When they first told me I was completely crushed and shocked that my company that I had so faithfully invested in had been acquired by a large National Brand. I was sad to lose the romance of our company, its small boutique feel, and local presence. I had come to Infinity Group Realty to build that brand, and when I was told that the brand had been sent into retirement I was very disappointed.
About a week after the big announcement I am quickly becoming more and more excited about the new look of the company. I have come to see that we are gaining a National Brand in ERA, but still maintaining local ownership with The Herman Group. We still have the same leadership, location, and agents in the office, but have been able to add state of the art systems to our marketing tool ... more
