Friday's Fotos: New Years Eve with Pops! Ella Smither ~ Huntsville, Texas

This is Pop (aka Thomas May). When I arrive at Ella Smither, Pop is almost always by the front door... reading the newspaper. Then, when I leave, he always tells me to "be careful out there... traffic's bad... not worried about you... it's those others." 
Pop was the life of the New Year's Eve party this afternoon! He blew his horn, popped his confetti and just seized the moment. That's one of the things that I love most about him. He just takes one day at a time and makes the best of whatever it gives him. Thanks, Pop! You're still teaching us great lessons! I would do well to learn this one! ♥
