Hickory NC Library Book Sale January 22, 2011
 
Hickory Public Library will be having its monthly 4th Saturday Book Sale on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library. It will be hosted by the Friends of the Hickory Public Library. The books offered for sale have been donated by area residents or removed from the library’s collection. Many new books are available and there is a good selection of children’s books. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Friends’ organizations at Patrick Beaver Memorial and Ridgeview Branch Libraries. The prices will be:
hard covers $1.00 or $2.00 depending on condition paperbacks $.50 children’s books $.50 to $2.00. The Friends are currently accepting additional donations of materials, and also request donations of baskets for the ongoing Friends gift basket project. Donations may be dropped off at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – noon.
