Dallas Superbowl Sunday
It’s here. Superbowl XLV and the big question of the day...who’s going to win? That’s a fairly easy answer from my perspective. Dallas is. Yes, Dallas is going to be the big winner. Not as grand as the predictions that were made during the building and planning of the event. No one, not even Cowboy owner Jerry Jones, could have ever imagined the extreme cold that swept across the nation leaving it’s impact on all of us and Superbowl week. All week Dallas has watched as Superbowl Storm spread its havoc on the parties and other festive events planned well in advance. Finally, on Friday the sunshine broke through the clouds melting away some of the ice and snow. Cheers went up in Dallas. Until the news traveled that some visitors to the new Cowboy Stadium had been injured by the sliding ice from the rooftop of the stadium. Another event not anticipated in the planning.Saturday the sun was out in Dallas working its rays on the Superbowl Storm as its residue slipped away into the drains and out of sight.
