So the iPhone 4 will be available at Verizon soon – February 10, I believe, with pre-sales starting February 03. I’m sure there will be a rush to acquire this new toy…er, I mean phone, and for good reason. But not reason enough, in my opinion, to buy the iPhone over an Android product, like the Droid X.  
Probably the two most attractive features on the iPhone 4 are 1) it is a 4G device, which means it will navigate between tasks, surf the web and enhance high speed applications (like gaming) with blazing speed and definition, and 2) it has two cameras -- one on the front and one on the back – which will enable the user to have a video conversation with another person, in real time…like Skype.
There are several drawbacks for me with regard to these two flagship features. First of all, my local Verizon guy told me that we will not likely have 4G service in our area for about two years. The service is only available in larger markets right now, so the folks around here who buy the iPhone now are buying a main feature that they cannot benefit ... more
