Handy windchill chart!  But I've ready that New York City and also Boston have passed us in the snowfall department this year.  We are all just looking forward to the days when "Moose and Squirrel" can romp through the woods without getting burried up to their eyeballs in snow!

1 Degree above zero. Yes, here on the frozen tundra of St. Cloud, MN we cling to almost anything for bragging rights. You would too if your football team did as bad as the Vikings did this year. But we're tuff! We can take it!
1 Degree above zero is the upside, while the sun is out, high in the sky. The downside is after the sun goes down. The overnight low in St. Cloud, MN is predicted to be -19 with 15-20 mph winds out of the northwest. Yep, that's right, our wind comes from Fargo (insert joke here). According to the handy wind chill chart that makes the wind chill temperature -47. Ouch!
On nights like this everyone needs to be inside and under a blanket. Cars need to run to warm up before being driven. Extra clothing goes with the car, just in case. Animals need extra ... more
