Come to Victoria via seaplane! Besides ferry and pleasure craft, Victoria's quaint little Inner Harbour is buzzing throughout the day with seaplane (floatplane) traffic. Several seaplane companies operate from Victoria’s harbour.
Victoria's dual water runway system is the busiest in all of Canada. There are over 100 scheduled seaplane takeoffs and landings per day. The number has, on occasion, reached as many as 200 per day. Most of the flights are regular service flights to and from Seattle, Washington and to and from Vancouver, BC. There is also seaplane charter service as well as seaplane adventures and scenic tours.

The flight to/from Vancouver is approximately 35 minutes. The flight to/from Seattle is approximately 60 minutes. When travelling to Victoria by air from Seattle, all passengers are required to produce a valid passport. Check with Seattle-based Kenmore Air for border crossing information.
