San Antonio passes Dallas as the Second Largest city in Texas
San Antonio passes Dallas as the second largest city in Texas.
Yes, it is true. According the the 2010 Census and facts published in the San Antonio Express News, San Antonio is now the second largest Urban City in the state with a population of over 1.3 million residents. But San Antonio does not have a larger Metropolitan Statistical Area(MSA) as Dallas-Fort Worth Area which has 12 counties with 6.14 million people, and those "Dallas Cowboys" in Arlington, TX.  If we did have a larger MSA, San Antonio would be able to get a Professional Football team to play in the "Alamo Dome", which is hosting the 2011 NCAA men's basketball Southwest regional playoffs.   However, We love our "San Antonio Spurs", 4 Time NBA Champions. "GO SPURS GO"!!
