What the Holy Bible has to say about Mold and Mildew!
The term mold us used interchangeably in the bible as mold, mildew and leprosy.  Mold is comparative to mildew.
Mold is also a fungus growth that can cause a break down of organic matter, where as mildew is a superficial coating or discoloration of organic materials such as paper, paint, cloth or even leather and much more.
In Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 15, the folks of Israel were promised blessings for obedience to God's word.  They were also told that if they fully obeyed the Lord their God and would carefully follow all of His commands, the Lord thy God promised to set them above  all nations on Earth.  However, if they did not obey the Lord God and did not carefully obey all of His commands and decrees, curses would come upon them and over take them. So, mold or mildew is seen in Deuteronomy 28: 22 as part of the curse for disobedience.  The Lord promised " to strike you with wasting disease, fever and inflamation, scorching heat and drought, blight and mildew which will plague you until you perish".  Again, mildew is mentioned by King Solomon in his prayer of dedication of the people as a potential curse and punishment for disobedience ... more
