Have you ever wear a shirt with good cause?
Have you ever wear a shirt with good cause?  I wore a shirt that said "Takin' it to the Streets - ACTION"
We have office meeting today and everywhere I went, people asked "what's action?"

ACTION is a NETWORK of churches all across Ventura County. We assist volunteers by quickly connecting them to serve those in need in our community I thought - wow, what an opportunity to share with people in the office about this good organization - On June 1 and 2 each year, most churches in the Conejo valley will join together with thousands of volunteers on these two days to serve the needy in the community, such as painting, house cleaning, yard cleaning, repairing, assisting the elderlies, etc.
The reason I wore the shirt today was I just finished playing tennis early in the morning and had no time to go home and change.  Little did I know a simple shirt would raise so much awareness for good cause.  We are so bombarded with business all the time, I am thankful that this shirt brought me a pause in the day to reflect on sharing good news with others.  After all, life is not just about work ... more
