In this business it takes time to be really good – and by that time you are obsolete.

There have been times, as I go through each day that I have wondered how long it takes to be really, really good in this business.  The one thing that I have come to understand is, it takes a lot of time invested in my own growth and development to be really good.If I would be given the choice I would take really good over being obsolete.   I don’t like the thought of being of no use to anyone.Stop and think about some of the old brands that are no longer around.  Could it be that they became obsolete because they didn’t stay in touch or keep up with changing wants, needs and trends?With the continual changes that our profession will see not only now but in the future it will pay to continue to grow and develop.  I’m not getting any younger ya know.
