Private property is more than just the land that you own under your house or the land you own on your ranch or farm. 
Private property is also the house that you built on the land that you own.  Private property is also the intellectual ideas you have in your head, the writing that you write in a book, the content you thought up with your mind and published on your blog.  Private property is also the inventions you thought up, the products you invent and thiings like software, websites and design work.  All of this is your own private property.
