Love Gunbo? Love Etouffee? Fat Tuesday Cajun Bar & Grill is the newest spot you'll want to check out. It's located on 809 Washington Street downtown Vancouver, WA. Phone number is 360-735-7199. We found their menu to be a full variety of southern foods such as the Muffuletta, Po'boys, Gumbo, etc. They also have fun appetizers such as Fried Green tomatoes! Average pricing was about $10-12 dollars. Try Fat Tuesdays! You're gonna feel like you're sitting in a New Orleans Bourbon Street tavern.We tried the Gumbo and it's good. It's a gravy base, not a file' like I prefer, but it was very good. (O.k., We're from Mississippi/New Orleans area and my husband Mike makes the BEST file gumbo around and respects the old southern adage, "first you make a roux."  It takes Mike all day to make it and he works off of the original & famous Paul Prudohmme's recipe from New Orleans.
