What I learned from Margaret Rome and Marney Kirk at GBBR

Now THAT is a dream team of Real Estate and blogging PROS!

By joining the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors you get access to lots of classes and events.  Kim Jones is a Rookie Mentor.  She is incredibly giving of her time.  She is always willing to answer questions and get you to the right place.
Notice Margaret taking a picture in the background?  I bet she doesn't go ANYWHERE without that camera!
 

Marney Kirk, a realtor who specializes in Towson and Timonium, says write about what you know, about your area, about your passions.  Write about events, store openings, things to do, become the area expert.  If you write about a local store opening or event, be sure you know the phone number because people will find you and call with questions thinking you are the representative!  Marney uses WordPress and blogs very consistently (daily, and sometimes multiple times in a day).  She IS the Towson and Timonium expert.

Just start writing!  Margaret is a very willing mentor for folks.  You never know when she is going to call you to comment on your blog.  Margaret told me she almost always learns something new when she reaches out by phone.  Don't stop with blogging, ... more
