Rock Island, Illinois First-Third Quarter 2007 Home Sales Up 1.1%, Average Home Sales Price Almost Identical from 2006!
REALTOR-assisted "Closed" single-family home sales in the city of Rock Island, Illinois increased by 1.1% in the first three quarters of 2007, up from the same period in 2006.
With 352 closed sales transactions from January 1 to September 30, 2007, the Moline market showed an increase of 4 units (1.1%) from the 2006 total of 348 closed sales transactions.
On a less happy note for home sellers, the average sales price of home sales that closed during the same period showed remained relatively stagnant, down from $92,056 in 2006, to $92,034 in 2007.
The average number of days on the market (from home listing date to sale pending date) remained almost the same, up from 58 Days in 2006,  to 59 days in2007. 
The list price to sales price ratio, (reflecting the percentage of the last recorded listing price of a property versus what the property eventually sold for) alwso remained almost the same at 96.3% in 2006 and 96.46% in 2007. 
The Quad-City Area market is made up of the cities of Davenport, Bettendorf, LeClaire, Eldridge and Blue Grass, in Iowa. And Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, Silvis, and Milan, in Illinois.
