Did you see? Do you know where it is?
In a recent closing my client said she was going to use the words "Did you see? and "Do you know where it is?" engraved on her husband's tombstone! We all had a good laugh. Let's face it as we all age these are common questions we hear on a regular basis. Forgetting where we laid our glasses, pills, name it..these occurrances happen on a regular basis!  Working with buyers I'm often asked the same type of questions....did you see that house on 2408 XYZ Street?  Do you know where it is located?  Do you know why they are selling?  Do you know the schools that house feeds into? After pre-approving buyers it is important to help hone down their list of wants, needs and desires to a manageable list.  Establishing a neighborhood and community should be the primary goal before making the search for "the" home.  There are many factors to consider...commute time to work, amenities offered, closeness to goods & services plus access to main highways.  Each buyer values things differently in establishing what is most important.  It's my job to listen carefully to assess the options and help the buyer process what is available.
