Dogtoberfest! 10/6/2007 - Capital Brewery, Middleton, Wisconsin
Dogtoberfest 2007 - TODAY!!  
The Dane County Humane Society is once again holding their annual fall Dogtoberfest celebration at Capital Brewery in Middleton.  In addition to a fun day full of games, contests, auctions, raffles, live entertainment, and of course, dogs and the people who love them (and did we mention the great beer?!)... all proceeds go directly to the homeless animals in our care.
In addition to a great cause, great beer, and great atmosphere, the Harmonious Wail will be playing live from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.  There are also  contests throughout the day including:--12:00pm, Tail Wagging Competition--1:30pm, Best Costume Award (which is why I feel dogs sometimes bite their owners!!)--3:00pm, Doggie Survivor--4:00pm, Look-a-Like Contest
Don't miss out - there will be a silent auction and raffle items such as spa certificates, theater tickets, jewelry, and more that you can enter to win!
Veterinary Emergency Service will be available for microchipping.  The cost is $20 per dog and proceeds go to Dane County Humane Society.
There is a $5 donation admission fee to the event.  I will be there with my three pups (yes three) and I hope to see you and your canine companions!!
