I'm sure you've heard this before...
Alan May does another interesting post, basically about how to interact with clients, anyone really. Extra important in our business, especially right now. I do OK, but I bet Alan does better. 
One thing, my bad. At first cursory glance, I thought Alan's button icons were the ends of shotgun shells Not so much, but then I wear glasses.
As we were finishing-up signing the listing agreement, this morning, on yet another referral I'd received from an Active Rain member (thank you Judy Greenberg, I'll be sure to take good care of him), the seller stopped for a moment, looked up from the paperwork, and he said to me:
"I'm sure you've heard this before... Your prompt and concise e-mails, texts and returned phone calls are a real pleasure."
I think I'm pretty good at returning phone calls quickly, and I wear my smart-phone on my belt, and return e-mails and texts promptly... and I've had clients compliment me before on just how responsive I am... but I'd never heard it put quite that nicely before.
It's really nice to get that kind of feedback from a client.  From someone who'd been considering whether or not to list with me.  He didn't ... more
