Being Called a Salesperson Isn't Like Being Cussed At!
I just hate it when people say "...but I'm NOT a salesperson!!!!!".  People say that and then they make The Face,  the same facial expression people get right after a Great Dane fills the room with dog-made methane.  These people act as if they are smelling Eau de Dog-poo. 
When people try and distance themselves from "selling", we have to think about what is it that they are really saying.  Are they talking about the ethical problem of getting someone to "buy" something they don't want?   The suggestion that I am going to somehow hypnotize a buyer and without their knowledge or participation SELL them a house they don't want...well...I wish someone would tell me where that bit of Cultural Folklore began.
It says on my state license that I am a Sales Person.  That is what it says on the license.  So, I am a Sales Person, as is every other non-broker licensed real estate professional in this great state.
The very best sales people don't "sell" anything.  They solve problems for their customer/client/buyer.  They identify a need and they fill it.  They are helpers.
