A Stormy Night, RainCamp Dallas
Earlier this week I was visiting Dallas for a mix of work and fun.  I was headed to RainCamp Dallas!  I brought my two teenage daughters along for a little fun and shopping.  Hey, you can't drive all the way to Dallas without hitting at least one outlet mall!  What would the neighbors say?  We stayed at the Sheraton Suites at Market Center.  It was pretty late when we got there Monday night.  We finally made it upstairs to our room and found several issues; the TV wasn't working, there was standing water in the tub, and the phones didn't work.  Ugh!  I must admit I saw this as a very bad sign.  I thought for sure I was in for a fight.  But the evening manager was quick to move us to a new room and even gave us a few coupons to use in the restaurant.The next day was Tuesday.  I went to RainCamp while the girls hit the Galleria.  That afternoon we headed to the outlet mall in Allen.  We had a great time.Well, I'm sure you remember the violent storms that came through Oklahoma on Tuesday evening.  That night they made their way to Dallas too.  The girls and I were just ... more
