As a local realtor here in Forest Park, Illinois I have come to love Tuesday's.  This is the day each week that our local area, Forest Park, Oak Park, & River Forest hosts their weekly broker's tour.  Since a FOR SALE sign isn't allowed in our town; it's imperative for the realtors to host their new and active listings open for the broker's to see.
This is where the fun begins for me.  I love going out on tour to see the new homes on the market.  I love seeing each detail to some of these very old homes.  I love seeing how each family has made a small necessary structure for survival into a home.  Not only does it appease those senses; it also allows me to learn our market.  See what the comparable homes are for sale.  This allows to me study the area in which I work and live in.  Understand my community and helping the residents who chose to call this cool little village home.
