Are You Spamming?
<!--StartFragment--> The Internet is a wonderful tool. I can remember when we had walk around with our MLS book in our hand. Now we have access to all the listing on our smart phone or pad. We can even click on an app and all the listings in that geographic area will be at your fingertips. We can twitter. We can put our listings on Facebook and hundreds of other web sites.
 
The best tool we have is e-mail.  In an instant we can let our clients, customers and fellow real estate agents that we have a new listing that they may have an interest in. But if we are not very careful we might be accused of spamming. I have found that members of our own profession are likely to be the ones that accuse you of spamming.  These are secret agents who don’t want anyone to contact them; they often change their e-mail address because too many people are contacting them. They are the agents that sit around the office drinking coffee and talking about the listing they god last year.
 
Here are a few tips to avoid the label of being a spammer.
