For dog-loving families, the City of Chandler and Town of Gilbert offer its residence several doggie parks with the best amenities for exercise, play and socialization. 
The City of Chandler has four dog parks at each of its following city parks: Paseo Vista Recreation Center, Shawnee Park, Snedigar Sports Complex, and West Chandler Parks. All the dog parks are open from 6:30 AM until 10:30 PM and offer obstacles, tunnels, hurdles and see-saws in a 6 foot chain-linked fenced area with one opening so dogs can’t escape their playground.
They also offer doggie drinking fountains, as well as benches and pooper scoopers for pet owners. It is important to note that children under 12 years of age are not allowed inside any City of Chandler dog park. Paseo Vista is located at 3850 S. McQueen Rd. on the NE corner of Ocotillo and McQueen Roads on top of the old city landfill. Its dog park is closed on Thursdays from 6:00 AM until 2:30 PM for regularly scheduled maintenance.
