When preparing your house for the market, there are some fix-ups that cost a lot if you do them and some that will cost you a lot if you don’t. While some of these items are not inexpensive, the return you will realize will be more than the cost of the fix-up.
1.       Staging – The aesthetic preparation to enhance the emotional feeling of your house. Buyers buy on emotion then logic. When they FEEL your house is for them, then they will use logic to either enforce or eliminate that feeling. Staging usually costs about $300. It has been proven to return up to 30 times the cost. This is one cost I pay for you when you list your house with me because like you, I want your house to sell for the highest possible price.
