I've been remiss...My Saturday Foodie Post..oh wait...it ain't Saturday....
 
So last night I got home...ooops, what to make for dinner in that I hadn't pulled anything out of the freezer.   What did I have on hand?
Baby spinach, pasta, bacon (who the heck doesn't like BACON), some cooked prawns, Asiago cheese, half n half, butter, garlic...ok, you get the picture.

 
So, I thawed some shrimp I had and removed the tails.  Into the fridge they went.  I you have the FRESH stuff, more power to you!  I took several slices of bacon, cut them into chunks and fried them up.  After they were done, drain on a paper towel and set aside.
The pasta (I used Vermicelli) was cooked in boiling salted water.  After done, drain then put back in the pan and keep warm.  I drizzle a little bit of olive oil into the warmed pasta to prevent it from sticking. 
For the sauce I used about 3 TBS butter, melted in a pan.  After it was melted I slowly added in some half n half.  Roughly 3/4 of a cup.  You'll just want to keep your burner on a low simmer as not to burn the butter or scald the half n half.  If ... more
