There was a salamander in the line!
Yup, you heard me right, there was a salamander in the line!
Dear hubby and I are blessed to be living in beautiful Rogue Valley here in Southern Oregon.  Our house sits on a few acres overlooking the beautiful valley and we're fortunate to have irrigation rights as a watering source for the lawns and gardens.
Well, on Saturday I went out to turn on the sprinklers in the front flower bed.  Turning the valve produced absolutely no water.  On Sunday we started trouble shooting why there was no water pressure in the front line.  All the other lines were fine producing plenty of pressure.
Hubby had a great idea.  He hooked up a long hose to a house spigot and began filling the line with water in hopes of "flushing out" whatever may have clogged the line.  After about 5 minutes of running house water through the exterior lines, we finally started to see some results.
What was the cause of the clog?  You got it!  Somehow a salamander had gotten into the line and had created just enough of a clog, resulting in the water not getting to the sprinkler heads.
