This short sale in Phoenix 85050 was about a 90-day process from contract to close.The contract was written on May 25th. Seems like forever ago! We had to call in help – again Fidelity National Title came to the rescue when one of the big three banks couldn’t find their way to a negotiator in under 45 days.  Wish I’d called on the big dogs sooner, but it wasn’t my listing. Thankfully I was working with a fine listing agent who kept me in the loop regularly and never made me feel like a pain when I'd contact her for status. She wasn’t above listening to or implementing my suggestion to let Fidelity escalate this transaction. Now she’s a believer in Fidelity National Title and its magic short sale escalation services, too!
Every single short sale has its quirks.
