Lewisburg United Methodist Church (LUMC) invites the community to an Ice Cream Social Sunday, September 18th 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm Lewisburg United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall This event is being sponsored by the Evangelism Team and will include ice cream, cookies and summer-time drinks, as well as a cake walk and give-aways.     A ‘Storytelling Concert' will be provided by Donna Marie Todd, daughter of the late Rev. Dr. Ross Evans.  Donna will share the story, "Baptism at Second Creek," which weaves story and music into one captivating presentation.  An old mountain man in the rural hills of West Virginia finds salvation in this redemption story.  Filled with unforgettable images of mountain life, Holy Rollers, snake handlers, old gospel songs and mystic encounters with God.  Music includes Amazing Grace, Shall We Gather at the River and Wayfarin' Stranger.  Read more about Donna Marie Todd, singer of stories.   The story and music woven together will be a wonderful conclusion to a fun afternoon together.   For more information, call the Church at (304) 645-2727
