Pay it forward, donate a bicycle.   The Tomoka Christian Church in Ormond Beach, Florida has a program to accept old bicycles.  They have a team of teenage volunteers who strip and fix the bikes, re-paint them and make them available to those in need who are less fortunate.
 
When I heard about this program I called and told them about the 2 bikes outside my door that the grandchildren are too old to use.  They were delighted to receive the donation of 2 bikes and are scheduled to pick them up later today.
