As Americans we possess the freedom to make our own choices every day:
About how we live Where we decide to work How we spend our money Religion or no religion Products that we purchase Schools our children attend City or country lifestyle Contribution to causes  
Terrorists took the lives of nearly 3,000 men, women and children in the September 11, 2001 attacks at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. They had no opportunity to make any choices, their lives cut short due to hatred for humanity, no regard for life. The ripples are still felt worldwide as we reflect on this day and I hope the families continue to find comfort in knowing they will never be forgotten nor forsaken.
 
Let us continue to fight against the terrorists who wreak havoc while destroying precious lives. Let our choices as Americans lift us up, continue to unite us and keep us safe.
