Tailwaggers in the Hollywood Hills, Pet Shop and Groomers

I initially avoided the Tailwaggers pet store and their sister store, TailWashers (pet grooming) because I thought that a small, boutique’ish pet shop would be way more expensive than the “big box” pet stores that I frequent.  I ended up in there one day only because I was in a rush and it was conveniently located near my house and I didn’t have time to schlep out to Petco (which I still love...but they just happen to be a bit far from where I live).  I figured that I would bite the bullet and pay through the nose this one time.

Now...this is my favorite store in all of LA...seriously.  The employees are truly amazing.  The “listening” from these folks is nothing short of epic.  The first time I was there, I was delivering a “just the facts ma’am” description of my dog’s issues and what I was looking for, trying not to sound overly concerned about my quest.  Well, next thing I know I’d been in the store for over 45 minutes and I’d talked, in earnest, with at least three people working there, sharing every intimate detail of Daisy’s eating habits, her separation anxiety, my lack of control when ... more
