Loma Linda Academy Tree Dedication Ceremony to Remember the 9/11 Lives Lost.

 

 
Last Friday, Sept. 9th, Loma Linda Academy Girl’s Football Coach, Brianne Carroll, had her football team participated in a dedication of a tree that will be planted on the school grounds in remembrance of 9/11 to pay tribute to the lives lost along with a pledge from each team member to perform random acts of kindness as part of the national "I Will" campaign.
 
 
But Loma Linda Academy girls football coach Brianne Carroll thought her players could not only use the occasion of the 10-year anniversary as a reminder, but as a way to get them to think of others.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 
 
 
 
 
The school ceremony also included a chapel service featuring a speech from Loma Linda Academy graduate, Elias Hakimian, a1999 Loma Linda Academy Graduate. Mr. Hakimian was working as a financial adviser for Morgan Stanley in the 65th floor of the south tower of the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001 when it was attacked but he managed to make it out safely.
