Old Town Tomball & Historic Downtown Tomball are located toward the east end  of Tomball -- between Commerce St. and Market St. (north and south); between Pine St. and Elm St. / the railroad tracks (east and west).  In case you don't know where Tomball is, it is northwest of Houston, northwest of Spring, southwest of The Woodlands, Northeast of Cypress. Old Town Tomball & Historic Downtown Tomball offer many great places to shop and eat; and it's a lot more relaxing and more low key than going to one of the malls.  If you don't want to fight the traffic and you are looking for unique gifts, give one (or several) of these wonderful stores a try.  You'll see lots of things you won't see at the mall. 
There are many good places to eat in and around Tomball, including several restaurants in Old Town Tomball.
