Assuming is guessing, knowing is to understand.
 
When we assume in business we can quickly paint ourselves into a corner of mistakes in our thinking. Assuming can create great strain in a relationship, a trying situations and very challenging to successfully to get ourselves out of.
 
In knowing we go into a business situation with confidence, knowledge and understanding which will enhance our decision making.
 
A person that assumes goes into a business situation with very little or no information.  They place themselves into a weak position in the relationship and at a total disadvantage in any negations that would take place. In the long run they create a lose – lose situation for them self.
 
A person that that enters into a business relationship armed with both knowledge and understanding increases their value in the relationship and will be seem as a professional.
 
They will increase their possibility of engaging in a successful and productive relationship.
