I've wrote about articles from a friend of mine who is a professional organizer before but thought you may be interested in ways to "Create a Magazine-Worthy Kitchen in Minutes."  Don't know about you but I'm always trying to find ways to help spruce up the home in "minutes."  Who has more than a minute these days? 
Hopefully these quick easy methods will be helpful to you.  Some of these are no-brainers but often times we all need to be kindly reminded (like our mothers used to do).
1)  Eliminate refrigerator magnets.  These guys seem to multiply when you are not looking!  Clear off ALL of them and wait 30 days.  If you still miss any of them, you may then bring back only those specific ones you recalling missing.
2) Just because the space is there doesn't mean you have to fill it.  It's refreshing to leave spaces partially empty.
3) Place a simple bouquet of flowers or a small potted plant in the center of the table. It will look so nice you won't be tempted to let clutter take over.
4) Wash dishes as you dirty them. Don't let any accumulate in the sink, on the counter, or anywhere else.
