Tragedy Strikes Well-Known Local Natural Horsemanship Farm Owner & Trainer

The horse community in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania received sad news about a famous local horseperson and his wife.

Monday evening, tragedy struck a local natural horsemanship trainer and owner of Willow Brook Farm, Peter Fuller.

Peter, and his wife Joan, were driving Route 1 in California when a car, passing a bus, hit them head on, killing Joan and seriously injuring Peter.  Peter suffered serious head injuries and is currently in a coma.

The Fuller family has owned Willow Brook Farms for over a hundred years.  It is now better known in the Lehigh Valley as the Willow Brook Farms Natural Horsemanship Center.  Peter Fuller taught a number of horse-riding clinics at the center with a natural horsemanship approach.

Peter Fuller came in first in a horse-riding competition in July this year, and placed in others.  He was scheduled to compete in the World Finals in San Angelo, Tex., in January.

His father, C. Thomas Fuller, owned the Allentown Portland Cement Company and continued the growth of the farm until his death last month.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Peter Fuller and his family.
